Harry, Hermione, and Ron return to Hogwarts for their third year to continue their wizard's education, have some fun, and find unexpected adventures. Some things remain the same: Harry still plays Quidditch and studies hard, Hermione is still as smart as she was in the last movie and Ron...well, Ron still has red hair.
Harry and his friends are getting older and now have to deal with issues that all teenagers facelike growing up. Harry has enough problems. He's being stalked by someone name Sirius Black, the man who supposedly betrayed Harry's parents, and he also has to deal with some scary creatures called Dementorscreatures that can suck the soul right out of a person.
Early Opening
Knowing that kids and adults alike would be eager to see Harry and his friends again, many theaters across the nation showed the movie at midnight last night.
13-year-old Lamel Townsend of Bronx, New York, went to see the movie last night with his mother and younger sister, Lexine. "The movie was good, really good." Lamel said. Scary? "Nope, not all," he said bravely.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third movie so far to be based on the popular J.K. Rowling books. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint are currently working on the fourth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which is due to come out sometime in 2005. Until then, many kids will ask to see Prisoner of Azkaban again, and maybe even a third time.
Would Lamel go see it again? "Yes, " he says, "and I recommend the movie to other kids too!"
