Mary Buchanan is interested in politics because she thinks it's important to know about the government. She thinks health care reform is a very important issue that is facing the United States today.
"[If I were President], I would provide equal health care for everyone," she said.
Mary gets most of her news from the newspaper and TV. She is excited about being a Scholastic Student Reporter because wants to meet and talk to important people.
