Remembering 9/11

It was a day of mourning and remembering. September 11, 2006, dawned in New York City just as bright, clear, and cool as it did five years ago when terrorist attacks shocked the nation.

In Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and in Washington, D.C., also sites of terrorist attacks that day, clouds brought some rain and dark skies.
