In Shredderman Rules, Devon Werkheiser plays Nolan Byrd— a nerdy kid who is one of the favorite targets of Bubba Bixby, the school bully. When Nolan gets fed up with Bubba, he makes an online computer character, named Shredderman, to catch Bubba in the act. When Nolan hears Bubba and his dad talking about how they are going to ruin the lake, he can't tell anyone. But Shredderman can.

This movie has a dash of genius, a sprinkle of comedy, and a whole lot of fun. Hysterical Devon Werkheiser, in his first feature film, plays Nolan. The very funny Dave Coulier plays his father. Tim Meadows plays Mr. Green, who is Nolan's teacher. And Daniel Roebuck and Andrew Caldwell play Bob and Bubba Bixby. These actors have all done a tremendous job in this movie.

The characters in this story are funny and yet believable. One of the best things about this movie is that it sends a message to kids that they can make a difference.

Devon Werkheiser is also the star of the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. I asked Devon what he thought about his character in the movie.

"I liked playing this character a lot, because he's so different from Ned, because Ned is so confident and sure of himself and Nolan, he's really self-conscious and shy," said Devon. "So it was a new role to play and it was really fun."

The idea for the movie came from a book written by Wendlyn VanDraanen, who has written four Shredderman books.

"We took the first one, which is actually written for younger kids," explained Lauren Levine, one of the film's executive producers. "But we thought the comedy in it—revenge against the bully, was so funny we'd make it for slightly older kids, and I think it worked."

The movie was a great success. I'd recommend it to any kid. Hopefully, there will be more movies from the Shredderman series.
