The Learning Network

Learning Network
The Learning Network is a section of The New York Times on the Web geared to grade 3-12 teachers, students and parents. Updated Monday through Friday throughout the year, the site uses New York Times articles as springboards for activities for the classroom and home, including lesson plans, daily news quizzes, news summaries, crossword puzzles, an "On This Day in History" section, and much more.

No registration is required to access materials on The Learning Network.

The New York Times on the Web is the online version of the newspaper. You'll not only find all of the articles from the newspaper, but also special coverage of today's key events, multimedia features such as slideshows and interactive graphics, and article archives.

NYTimes.com is a free site that requires registration to access most of its content.
