What is a Podcast?
A podcast is an audio file that you can download and listen to on your computer or mp3 player.

Listen to the Podcast
You can listen directly to the podcast episodes by clicking on the titles:

• September: What Is the Constitution?
• October: Where Are Bears?
• November/December: Navajo Ways
• January: Arctic Foxes
• February: The Path of a President
• March: World of Weather
• April: Kids Are Earth Helpers
• May: Terrific Tide Pools

How to Subscribe to a Podcast?
If you want to get all the Listen and Read podcasts when they are posted, you can subscribe to them.

All you need to do is copy this URL: http://teacher.scholastic.com/scholasticnews/podcasts/sn2.rss and paste it into your podcast software (such as iTunes).

If you are using iTunes:

1. Click on the Advanced menu
2. Pick "Subscribe to Podcast"
3. Paste the URL in the popup box that appears
4. You are done!

The software will automatically download the Scholastic News "Listen and Read" podcast to your computer's media player whenever you're connected to the internet.
