Q & A
Q:
Congratulations on Cory in the House.
Kyle: Thank you.
Q:
How did you get into acting so young?
Kyle: Well, actually, my brother was acting first and then I followed in his footsteps. I went along to auditions and I started booking little commercials and then that led to That's So Raven.
Q:
Is it true that you went to an audition with your older brother, Chris, for a role that he was going for but you got it?
Kyle: Yes. It was the Wizard of Oz play.
Q:
Now you guys are both successful.
Kyle: Yeah, he is on Zoey 101.
Q:
What's your favorite thing about acting?
Kyle: Well, I love meeting new people. You get to do something different every single week and it's never the same. That's probably my favorite thing about acting.
Q:
Are there any actors you would like to work with?
Kyle: I want to work with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Q:
Tell us about Cory in the House. Has Cory changed?
Kyle: He hasn't really changed. He just gets into more trouble. But the trouble is on a different level nowhe's getting into trouble at the White House! He's pretty much the same old Cory, though. He moves to the White House because his father, Victor, owns a respectable restaurant in San Francisco and the President comes to eat at his restaurant and the President loves it so much he asks Victor to come to the White House as his personal chef. So he brings Cory along with him.
Q:
Have you ever been to the White House?
Kyle: When I was very little. I've never been inside, but I have stood at the gate and looked at it from a distance.
Q:
What do you think it would be like to live in the White House?
Kyle: I think it would be fun. It would be a blast.
Q:
Your dad on Cory in the House is a chef. Do you like to cook?
Kyle: I'm not the best cook in the world. All I can make is grilled cheese and bacon.
Q:
Do you like to read?
Kyle: Reading is fun to me for so many different reasons. When you read a book, it helps you to read better and it helps build your imagination. When you're reading, it's like seeing a movie in your headwhenever someone interrupts me, it's like, "Oh, why did you pause the movie?" That's why I love it.
Q:
What are your favorite subjects?
Kyle: Math and science.
Q:
Are you close to any of the kids on other Disney Channel shows?
Kyle: Oh, yeah. It's just one big, huge family. Everybody who's on the Disney Channel knows everybody else who's on the Disney Channel.
Q:
If you could invite three people to dinner, who would it be and what would you serve?
Kyle: I would say Oprah, Tiger Woods, and Beyoncé. And I'd serve my Grandma's fried chicken.
