You probably know Mitchel Musso best as "Oliver" on the Disney Channel hit, Hannah Montana, but this 15-year-old has been very busy! He costarred with Haley Joel Osment in Secondhand Lions (Haley is the older brother of Mitchel's Hannah Montana costar Emily Osment); he played the lead role of "DJ" in the animated hit Monster House; and he is the voice of "Aang" in the TV cartoon series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Scholastic News Online caught up with Mitchel. Check out what he had to say about his Hannah Montana costars, his early career, and even Dancing With The Stars!

Q & A
Q:
When did you first know that you wanted to be an actor?
Mitchel Musso: I was about nine. My little brother was in the business. When he was in his first commercial, I saw [him] on TV and I thought, Whoa that is the coolest thing ever. I've got to get into that.
Q:
Describe Oliver, your character on Hannah Montana.
Mitchel: He is best friends with Lilly [Emily Osment] and Hannah [Miley Cyrus]. He is pretty much all about girls and clothing.
Q:
If he were a real guy, do you think you would be friends with him?
Mitchel: Oh yeah, for sure. He is so funny.
Q:
Describe your costars Miley, Emily, and Jason.
Mitchel: Miley is really jumpy and perky and loving, and nice to everyone. Emily is just the sweetest girl—I can talk to her about anything. Jason is probably one of the funniest kids I have ever met in my life.
Q:
Who is your favorite character on the show other than your character, Oliver?
Mitchel: That's tough. It's either Jason [Earles] or Moises [Arias]. Moises, who plays little Rico, has developed this incredible character over the past year. We've actually brought him on to be a regular on the show. He probably has the best character out of everybody. Everybody's really funny, but he's got his own little character and it's hilarious.
Q:
Do you have a favorite episode?
Mitchel: There is an episode this season where I get to go backstage and get all dressed up. I can't tell you what I look like, but everybody's going to be pretty surprised. It's really funny.
Q:
Tell us about the new Hannah Montana: Pop Star Profile DVD coming out on June 26?
Mitchel: It's all about Jake Ryan [played by Cody Linely], Miley's love interest. It's good!
Q:
Did you watch Billy Ray Cyrus when he was on Dancing with the Stars?
Mitchel: I did! Billy Ray is the nicest guy. You can even see it on Dancing with the Stars and Hannah Montana. Truth of the matter is, I only watched the show because of Billy Ray. Even though I work with him, all my friends and I watched the show because you never knew what he was going to do next.
Q:
Would you ever want to do something like Dancing with the Stars?
Mitchel: Maybe, if I learned how to dance!
Q:
Do you have an all time favorite book?
Mitchel: There is this one book that I read when I was in kindergarten. It's the only book I can remember falling in love with. It was called Cave Boy. It is a great book.
Q:
Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?
Mitchel: Probably still in this business. I love it. It's my favorite thing to do.
