Star Spotlight
On the Disney Channel series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, real-life twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse check into the swanky Tipton Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. And they never check out! As the twins make the hotel their personal playground, they discover new friends, and drive the hotel staff crazy! We recently talked with Cole and Dylan about working on a show that's twice the fun and double the trouble! Here's what they had to say:

Q:
Did you have any idea that the show was going to be this successful?
Cole: We thought it might be, but we didn't expect it.
Q:
Did you have to change your life at all?
Dylan: We can barely go out to the mall without getting noticed, but we expected it. We knew it was going to happen, so we were ready for it.
Q:
Do you still like to surf?
Cole: Yes, we love surfing.
Q:
What is the highest wave you ever rode?
Cole: Five feet.
Dylan: I think I rode a big one once not knowing I was going on a big one, because I think I got trapped, so that one was seven feet. They're a lot bigger than they look, so a three-foot wave is pretty big.
Q:
Did you have a really bad wipeout?
Dylan: Yeah, I hit a reef with my knee. When I was younger, I was on a boogie board and I caught a wave and I tumbled and tumbled and flipped, but I still had the boogie board. Then, the boogie board went straight up in the air and my stomach was on it, so I was surfing the wave on the very tip of the boogie board. It was weird and then I fell pretty hard, but after that, it was all good.
Q:
How do you keep up with your schoolwork?
Cole: We do well.
Dylan: We actually do get straight A's.
Q:
How many hours a day do you study?
Cole: Three hours a day. I know it sounds super easy, but we do also do six hours of work, so we cram a week of work into a day.
Q:
Do you miss regular school?
Cole: Yeah, we miss our friends.
Q:
Do you keep in touch with your friends?
Dylan: Oh, of course. We see them and we invite them to the show. It's fun.
Q:
What do you do when you're not working or studying?
Cole: We play with our new puppy, Bubba, or play video games. We do what normal kids do. We go down to the park, hang out.
Q:
Have you guys ever been jealous of each other?
Dylan: Sometimes, but not really anymore.
Q:
Cole, describe Dylan.
Cole: He's cool. He's relaxed. He really enjoys getting into something like collecting, and once he has a goal, he will go for it.
Q:
Dylan, describe Cole.
Dylan: He is actually pretty loud. He's really active all the time and wants to hang out. He wants to have a good time all the time and he's just fun to be around.
