The weekend of June 8-10 is going to be Devon Werkheiser time on Nickelodeon! As a matter of fact, the channel has named it the "Ned Shred Weekend." If you can't get enough of the star of Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide this weekend is going to be a must-see. On June 8, Devon will star in the super-sized TV movie Ned's Survival Guide to Field Trips, Permission Slips, Signs and Weasels. Then, on Saturday June 9, Devon will star in the original Nick flick, Shredderman Rules!, an action-packed movie based on the book by Wendelin Van Draanen. We caught up with the dashing Devon and got him to spill the beans on the movies, and much more. Read on!

Q:
How does it feel to have a whole campaign centered around you and your movies, Shredderman Rules! and Ned's Survival Guide to Field Trips, Permission Slips, Signs and Weasels?
Devon Werkheiser: It's cool. It's amazing.
Q:
What's going to happen?
Devon: We're going to do a Teen Nick with me, Andrew, and then Dan Curtis and Lindsay from my show, Lil' JJ, Victoria from Zoey 101, and Miranda from Drake & Josh. And Miranda has her own new show called iCarly. We're all going to do a Teen Nick the night of Shredderman Rules!. And I filmed a promo for that whole weekend, so that'll start next week. And then they have a magazine ad that I think is going to run in Nick Magazine.
Q:
Tell us about Shredderman Rules! and your character.
Devon: My character is Nolan Byrd. He plays on his computer. He's always in his head. He doesn't have a lot of friends, and gets picked on by the school bully. Nolan finds the courage to stand up to him the only way he knows how—he uses technology. He puts a camera in his backpack and films all the bad things that the bully does and puts it on a Web site. It's a really funny story.
Q:
Have you read the Shredderman books?
Devon: I have. I hadn't before the movie but the author actually came to the set one day and gave us copies.
Q:
Was it fun to make this film?
Devon: It was a blast. We did it last summer. It was hot, but it was so much fun. Andrew Caldwell, who plays the bully in the movie, was a friend of mine from acting class and is one of the funniest kids on earth. He's one of my best friends. It was really cool being able to film with him.
Q:
Have you guys finished the last season of Ned's?
Devon: We've been done since before Shredderman. We finished last May.
Q:
What is your best memory of Ned's?
Devon: The whole three years was one big memory. It's just that those people were my second family. Filming every day was so normal. So I miss all that.
Q:
If you were a superhero, what kind of superpower would you like to have?
Devon: I would definitely want to be able to fly. It's the coolest ability. I would fly to the DMV and laugh because I wouldn't have to get a license. And then I'd fly to a tropical island. Take a little weekend vacation in the Caribbean.
Q:
What’s the silliest thing you've ever eaten? Or worst thing?
Devon: [We] used to play Truth or Dare a lot. And one of our dares would always be: "Eat whatever is on this plate." And it would always be something like leftover chicken and soy sauce and sprinkles. They made really gross things.
Q:
If you could be a member of a band, what band would it be?
Devon: Led Zeppelin.
Q:
Do you ever want to get into the music industry?
Devon: I am getting into the business. I'm currently in the process of signing a record deal.
