About the Scholastic Kids Press Corps

Members of the Scholastic Kids Press Corps cover news stories around the
nation for Scholastic News Online and Scholastic's classroom magazines.
More than 50 press corps members will be chosen for the 2006-2007 school
year.
The program is open to all students who read Scholastic News Grades
4-6, Junior Scholastic, and other classroom magazines. Kid Reporters
are chosen based on the quality of submitted writing samples and enthusiasm
for the job.
The new Scholastic Kids Press Corps members will be announced online
in early November.

A recent picture of you
A 1-page letter explaining why you want to be a reporter
A 400-word story about what makes your city and state special.
Entries must be postmarked no later then October 9, 2006.
