“Disappearing Love”
By Erika H.
age: 16
Texas

Waiting for you has been miserable.
Your lies and excuses made me feel guilty for loving you so quickly
You said goodbye to her so I thought you had forgotten her.
Seeing you cry for her made me realize that it would be worthless having you by my side.
You said you needed time to ponder your feelings for this.
As time is departing, so is my love.
I’m feeling confused now that you want me with you.
I thought I loved you….
But now I’m not sure.
