He went to a good school the name was the University of California. Jackie Robinson got married February 10, 1946. His wifeGÇÖs name was Rachel Isum. They had three children. There were some good times in Jackie RobinsonGÇÖs life. He served in the United States Army and Jackie Robinson never got to fight in a war while he was in the army. Jackie Robinson played lots of sports like football, basketball, and his best Baseball at the University of California. People all new him because he was the first African American to play on a professional baseball team in the 20th century. Jackie Robinson died October 24, 1972 at the age of 53. He died because he had heart problems and diabetes complications.
