George Washington’s Childhood
George Washington’s dad was married to a woman named Mary Ball Washington, they lived in Virginia. George’s dad died when George was just 11 years old. If George’s dad had lived, George would have gone to the best schools in England, instead tutors taught George. What George loved most was going outside and riding horses. George liked to make his own decisions. When George was a teenager his older brother Lawrence said he would get George in the British Army.
Now to George Washington’s adulthood
George used to be in the American army. He was the leader of it. The he was the leader in the French and Indian war. The American’s won. The he became president. When he was president, he helped shape the country. Then he was reelected president. He died on December 14, at Mount Vernon.
