Ralph Waldo Emerson was born in Boston on May 3, 1803. He also attended school there at Harvard where he was ordained as a preacher. He was a preacher, a philosopher and a poet. His father was a preacher that's why he became a preacher.
Years laters he was writing poems and preaching that's how he became famous. Also, he was a Trascendentalist. We should care about Emerson because he was a part of the American Renaissance, also he wrote a poem about America called American Scholar.
