At one time DeSoto was once called Fountain City. I guess you're wondering why right? Well there were fountains under the ground basicly. Everyone thought the water was so fresh and good. There is no other water like it. But now it is called DeSoto. Why? Because a Spanish explorer named Hernando Desoto passed through here so they changed the name. Personally if you ask me I liked it better as Fountain City.

The End!
