The Flip-Flop JAARS Story

Have you ever had a moment in your life where you’re trying to tell a story of something that happened to you and your friends to someone else, and you realize that it probably sounds completely stupid to them? Well, this isn’t one of those, because we usually make sense when we’re telling this unless we’re laughing too hard. We usually tell this story every time something involving JAARS comes up because it’s the first thing that we simultaneously think of. One night in our champa at JAARS, Johanna, Hannah, Sarah, Jessy and I were about to go to sleep as usual, except that we had a visitor; Cassie. It was raining quite hard, and we could see it through the cracks of our champa. We started hearing noises like people running throughout the woods wearing flip flops, and it started to freak us out. Johanna, being the only rationally thinking one tried to tell us that we were just imagining the sound of flip flops to be what truly was rain dripping from the trees, but of course we wouldn’t listen to her. We listened some more, and decided that there actually were people out there. Sarah decided to put on her shoes and whatnot and venture out into the alleged creeper-filled woods. She came back with the report of seeing no one, which freaked us out even more. Johanna was tired of us talking about non-existent people stalking us, so she went to sleep as we all should have. We continued to be scared out of our minds for quite awhile, then eventually came to the conclusion that Johanna was actually right all along, and there was no one in the woods coming to kill us.
