How Birds got Their Wings.

Way back when, birds built a rocket ship to go to the moon. But there was no light on the moon, so the birds tied a rope around the sun and tried to bring it back to the moon. The sun was so hot it burned the rope. ''I warned you,'' said the sun. But the sun was still not satisfied so it molded the hands of the birds into wings and made the rope into feathers which the sun burned onto the birds. ''OW, that hurts!'' said the birds. But, the birds could fly now so they flew all the way from the moon back to earth. The cavemen had never seen flying animals before so they made up a new word called, ''Wow.'' And they say ''Wow'' every time they see a flying animal again. The end
