Baby Fish

One day, there was a mother fish. She was laying eggs and one wasn't hatching. The mother took her other fish for a swim and while they were gone, the egg hatched. When the mother came back, she saw the egg was hatched, but something was wrong. Her fish was dead! The mother was crying and then she saw a shark. “Why did you kill my baby?” the mother asked. “I didn't kill your baby. Mr. Jelly did. He was saying, 'Help me' and warned me so I swam as fast as I could and a coral hit your baby.”

The mother went over to see Mr. Jelly. And the mother said, “Why did you kill my baby?” “I didn't. Mr. Turtle did. I was just minding my own business and Mr. Turtle swam to me and tried to eat me.”

The mother went to see Mr. Turtle. The mother said, “Why did you kill my baby?” “I didn't. Mr. Crab did. I said hi to him but he just ignored me.”

The mother went to see Mr. Crab. “Why did you kill my baby?” asked the mother. “I didn't,” said Mr. Crab. “Then why did you say hi to me when I said hi to you?” asked Mr. Turtle. “Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Turtle. It's just that Mr. Sea Spider was saying something really boring so I covered my ears.”

The mother fish laid one more egg. So the mother and her fish lived happily ever after.
