A Day at Grandma's

By: Paula Mary H.

As the oak tree was swaying in the wind and the wind howling like it always does up North, I was thinking what I was going to do next. I had all morning to decide because there is nothing else to do there. Should I go down the twenty-two steps to help my mom clean the dishes or should I keep Grandma company? Since I couldn't decide I opened up a book called The Perfect Storm and began reading. I grew tired and layed on the flowered colored bed I was reading on. When I woke up there was a dark blue sky out which meant that it was night already! I couldn't believe it! I slept all day long. Well, I guess my mind had already made up plans for me the whole day!
