Courage to Continue

Dear God,
True courage isn't what most people think it is. It isn't fighting a battle or cutting off the head of a dragon. It isn't even flying a jet plane and launching missles. Courage is different today. It takes more inner strength. Courage is smiling and laughing when on the inside your crying. Crying is holding your head high when you know there's a zit on your face. Courage is trying again after so many failures. Courage is waking up each day with hope in your heart. Facing each new day with vigor and confidence no matter how terrible the week has been. Courage is choosing to love when it's so easy to hate. People dont' see this kind of courage, but it's still there. Courage is never giving up on life, God, or myself
