3 Little Footballs and the Big Bad Linebacker

By: Evan K.

Joe made his house out of tackling dummies, which isn’t that smart. A few minutes later the big, bad linebacker came. He rang Joe’s doorbell and screamed, “Little Football, little football, let me in!” “No, no, no,” said Joe, “not by the treads on my chinny, chin, chin.” “I’ll tackle and I’ll squish your house down!” So he tackled and he squished the house down.
Now Billy was smarter but not that much smarter and he built his house out of chairs. Then the big, bad linebacker came back and yelled, “Little Football, little football, let me in!” “No, no, no,” said Joe, “not by the treads on my chinny, chin, chin.” “I’ll tackle and I’ll squish your house down!” So he tackled and he squished the house down.
A few blocks away Ted was making his house. He must have been the smarty pants in the family because he made his house out of lockers. Then the big, bad linebacker came back and yelled, “Little Football, little football, let me in!” “No, no, no,” said Joe, “not by the treads on my chinny, chin, chin.” “I’ll tackle and I’ll squish your house down!” So he tackled and he could not squash it down. Then he ran away. Then Joe and Billy came and they lived happily ever after!
