My name is Rumplestiltskin and I will tell the true story of what happened. One day my wife and I were talking about how we cannot have babies because she cannot get pregnant anymore. My wife said I should go get a job in town so we could probably adopt a baby. I went, but on my way to the castle for a job I heard a woman crying. I followed the sound saw a woman crying on the floor. I asked her what was wrong and she said she had to do chores for the king. I offered to do it for a price like her necklace. She said yes so I did her chores and she gave me the necklace. I went back home and my wife said, ˘What about the job at the castle?÷ I had forgotten, so I went back for a job. I found her crying again this time and asked her what happened. She had more chores so I asked her for her ring in exchange.
After I left there was a rumor about her getting married to the king. I went back to congratulate the lady, but I found her on the floor, crying, telling me if she did not do all her work the king would not marry her. I told her I would do her work for a baby in exchange. Years later I heard the new Queen had given birth. I rushed in excitement as fast as I could to get the new baby I deserved for all my good work. She saw me and, I guess, was scared. She would not give me the baby so I gave her 3 days to find out my name and keep the baby because I felt sorry for her.
On the 3rd day I was dancing like crazy and sang my name out and I saw a man looking through my window. A few hours later I went to ask her my name one last time. She started saying wrong names then - said Rumplestiltskin! That was unfair because I didnĂt get the baby. A deal is a deal, and if it werenĂt for me there would have been no baby. I did her chores for her, which the king would have not been fascinated with her and married her.
