One sunny morning, Fred work up with excitement. It was his birthday and his mother said he could have anything he wanted for breakfast. He ran downstairs and looked in the cabinet. The Cheetos were missing! He searched the whole house. Then Judy, his sister, said she was going to the mall, but that was nothing new.
Then he heard a clunk. He turned and looked . . . it was Moe, his friend.
Fred asked, 'What are you doing here?'
'You invited me over, remember?' answered MOE.
Fred said, 'Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I've got to find those Cheetos.'
We started on our way writing down clues.
'Well, the cabinet door was left open.' Fred said.
'And I'm hungry.' complained Moe.
'I am too, but that's not a clue. Maybe we can put my sister down as a suspect. She said that she was going to the mall.' suggested Fred.
'Whatever, I'm just hungry.' complained Moe again.
'Then go eat the whole box of crackers.' Fred said.
Fred whispered, 'My gosh!'
'What?' Moe said cluelessly.
'Oh no! The cabinet door is missing. Look there's a trail of Cheetos, but don't eat them. They might lead us to the suspect.' Fred said.
'You know you might be right.' Moe said. Sure enough it led right to the suspect. It was Judy! Her fingers and and tongue were ORANGE! There was the bag of Cheetos with a hole in the bottom.
Now the mystern was solved. That afternoon Mom drove to town to get some Cheetos and Fred had them for supper.
Now the mystery is solved.
