Texas Wins Independance for Annexation

Have you ever wondered what happened after Texas gained its independence? After Texas won its independence Sam Houston was elected president of the republic of Texas in favor of annexation. The Texans had three resolutions, to support Santa Anna. The resolutions were that the Texans passed a law in April 6,1830. They Pleaged Allegiance to the constitution of 1824, and enforced the State's Rights.
After Houston got elected for the second time, Texas started having economic problems. Texas then asked the U.S if they could buy the state, so they wont have any more economic problems. Texas thought that if they belonged to the U.S
