Should children be allowed to vote?

By Christina S.
Tennessee, Age 7

Should children be allowed to vote? This question has been on almost everyone's mind for the past 4 years. Kinda S. of Masonville Middle School says, ''I think everyone should vote, because people think that kid's don't care who the president is and why they are running, but truthfully some really do.'' Taramine S. said, ''We care who is our president too, not just older people, the president is someone who is going to help everyone and everything.'' A parent at the middle school says, ''Children should not vote because they could care less who is the president of the U.S., they probably don't even know who the candidates are.'' As you see, not all of the world has the same opinion. We should come to a conclusion that would be successful.
