Fight For Freedom

By Jennifer D.
Pennsylvania, Age 11

Mr. Sugihara the helpful man that

helped 3,000 Jewish people through

Japan to escape from the Polish.

Mr. Sugihara disobeyed his

government to trust his conscience.

He had issued thousands of visas

to refugees. He had called his

superiors by cable, but their

was no agreement.

Once the diplomats and

representatives found out

they ordered Mr. Sugihara

to get out of the country so

he left with his family.

As he was leaving he

threw the rest of the visas

out the window to the people.
