In an International school in West Jakarta you would be forgiven for thinking that the students in the class were in a Bahasa Indonesian lesson but you would be mistaken. This is infact an English lesson, so why do all the students insist on speaking Indonesian the whole time? Is it because they hate the English language? Or Maybe they are being lazy? I went to the class to ask the students, one student said ''I speak Indonesian because it is my first language but I should try and speak English more, uh ha''
Will these students ever realize what lesson they are in and start to use the correct language? Only time will tell.
