England Defeat Brazil 3-2 In The World Cup Final

Steven Gerrard scores World Cup winner!
England win World Cup when Brazil were four men down. David Beckham crossed the ball for Gerrard who skilfully attacked with an over head kick and scored the winner with only 20 seconds remaining.

This unexpected win took place at the new improved Wembly Stadium. The goals started with Ronaldo taking the game by the horns and making the most of any opportunity he had, scoring two goals. At the beginning of the second half John Terry headed the ball into the back of the net. The second England goal was scored by Peter Crouch when he was 25 metres from the goal; it was going wide, when suddenly a gust of wind blew and knocked the ball into the back of the net. The third and final goal was scored by Steven Gerrard.

The match finished at twelve noon. The England fans were over joyed. Brazilian fans were distraught leaving a sombre atmosphere in the great arena. The match was an amazing spectacle and one England fans will never forget.
