Scholastic Book Clubs is looking for one teacher to spend a week next summer at our New York corporate offices. Each day, our Teacher-in-Residence will be expected to lend a teacher’s point of view while working with Book Club editors to craft the 2009-2010 Book Club catalogs.

1. Choose the one book you love so much that you wish every kid would read it.
2. In three sentences or less, describe that book in a way you think would make every kid want to read it!
3. In a separate paragraph, describe the one thing you would most like to change if you were in charge of presenting the books offered through Scholastic Book Clubs.
4. Lastly, write a paragraph about yourself—how long you've been teaching, what grades you teach, and what you consider to be your greatest strength(s).
5. Make sure your entry includes your name, grade level, school name, school address, phone number, and your customer number.
