• Abe couldn't go to school often, but he loved to read. He learned about people and places far away. Abe had big dreams for his own life. How could he be special? When Abe was older, he tried many jobs. He worked in a store and in the post office. Abe made friends in his town. One of Abe's friends was Mary Todd. They got married. Abe was happy, but he still had big dreams.
