  1. Max and Ruthie decide to build a smaller card castle with only seven floors. How many different ways can the two of them build seven floors? Show and/or tell all the possible combinations of reaching seven using only two numbers.

  2. Max and Ruthie ask a friend to help them rebuild their card castle. Now that there are three children, describe some of the combinations of three that add up to fourteen.

  3. Max and Ruthie think it will be fun to rebuild their castle with three rooms on each floor. When they build the first floor, there are three rooms total. When they add the second floor, there are six rooms total. How many rooms will there be when they've built three floors? Four floors? Five floors? Six floors? Etc.
