Courtside Reading brings high interest, nonfiction basketball selections into the classroom to motivate students to read independently. Each kit offers practice in reading comprehension and vocabulary while providing students with positive role models. Also includes test prep strategies.

Each kit contains 4 copies each of 40 Reading Cards (160 cards), 40 Answer Cards, 30 Trading Cards, 30 Award Certificates, Go Courtside! CDROM, and a Teacher's Resource Book to help support nonfiction reading strategies. The kits can be used independently by the students, in teacher-lead small groups, or in whole group activities.
