Work with a friend to get
this poem off the ground

1. Write down a word & pass it to your friend.
2. Your friend adds a word and passes it back.
3. Now you add two words.
4. Your friend adds two more.
5. You add three words.
6. Your friend adds three more.
7. Keep working on the poem until you get to 8 words each.
Read it aloud. How does it sound? What kind of meaning do you
see? Does it have potential? If so, see what it can become when
you put it through the writing process.
