I wanted to show the excitement of the crowd in England seeing these life-size dinosaurs for the first time, but I also wanted to make sure we could see the dinosaurs in all their glory. My trip to England to see the real dinosaur sculptures was especially helpful in this drawing, because I had seen how all the dinosaurs stood and was able to make this "group portrait" as accurate as possible.
