Student achievement depends upon the implementation of effective reading and writing strategies across the disciplines. Best practices vary across the content areas, but we help all teachers with discipline-specific approaches for increasing student literacy. Teachers will benefit from immersion in research-based strategies, and engagement around differentiating support for struggling students.
Leaders will learn best practices for supporting the implementation of effective literacy instruction in all content-area classrooms. We will guide them in raising awareness and understanding of current standards across the content-area teams. Leaders will also gain classroom observation skills.
