Each Math Hunt has a built-in assessment tool: problem scoring. Every Hunt includes five math problems — each of which covers a different math skill. Students "score" 20 points for each answer they get right on their first try. If they calculate incorrectly, they'll be given a helpful hint — and a chance to score 15 points on the second try. If they are still unable to find the answer, Number Cruncher will provide information on how to do the problem correctly.
