Case Study: How Scholastic F.I.R.S.T. and Literacy Pro Raised Reading Scores on State Assessment

Scholastic F.I.R.S.T. (Foundations in Reading, Sounds, and Text) is a research-based program that teaches students in Grades K-2 the five foundational reading skills through adaptive activities and books. Scholastic Literacy Pro is a reading management solution for Grades K-8 that motivates students to read with choice and access to thousands of high-quality, authentic ebooks. This third-party case study highlights how RISE Academy in Broward County, FL saw a significant increase in state assessment scores for third grade after implementing these two Scholastic digital programs in literacy centers.
